Little Red Bear’s Activities, Games, Puzzles, and Coloring Pages

On days when it is so windy Farmer Turner’s cows have trouble remaining upright, or cold enough to freeze the whiskers off a polecat and blowing snow outside, or when it’s raining cats and dogs, or even after a long day of gathering honey, Little Red Bear and Cinnamon Charlie like to sit down by the fireplace and relax with fun puzzles, games, and activities. Cinnamon Charlie in particular likes to color.

So, Little Red Bear and Cinnamon Charlie decided to share with you some of their favorite activities and things that they like to do in order to relax, have fun, and learn while passing the time when resting after a busy day of doing needed chores and helping others, or on days when they are cooped up inside the cabin by the weather.

Simply tap on the titles or images below to have some fun!  And please check back often as Little Red Bear adds more fun new activities for young readers — Puzzles, Games, Word Scrambles, Seek & Find Puzzles, Coloring Pages, and more.

Watch for additional new features coming soon!

Little Red Bear’s “Spot the Difference” Puzzles

Spot the differences by comparing one picture to the next, finding everything that is changed from the first picture to the second. Careful — some are kind of tricky and easily overlooked.

Little Red Bear gives you a hint on how many to look for each time to help you get started well and keep going.

Little Red Bear’s “How Many Can You Find?” Games

How many of the different objects Little Red Bear has included in the pictures below can you find?  There is no hurry, so take your time and find every one.  Little Red Bear will give you the number to search for so you know when you have found them all. He knows you will. Some might be hiding though, so look carefully!

Little Red Bear’s “Clip and Paste” Puzzles

Little Red Bear and his friend Cinnamon Charlie sometimes like to use their scissors to carefully snip and clip pictures from old magazines and catalogs, and then further cut them into various puzzle pieces to reassemble another time.

You can do the same with these! Print out the picture image, snip out the small pieces and then paste them on to the blank section using a glue stick to form the completed, colorful images to create your own completed puzzle picture!

Little Red Bear’s “Amazing Animal Maze” Puzzles

Have fun helping Little Red Bear’s animal friends find their way thru these mazes.

But a word before rushing off to help them -they start off easier and then each gets a bit harder and trickier as you go along.

Little Red Bear’s “Hidden Word” Picture Puzzles

Six words are cleverly disguised and hidden in these picture puzzles. Your job — find them all.  But take your time and think “out of the box” a little, because some are very well hidden and pretty tricky.

As a hint, each word has something to do with the theme of the picture. Good luck!

Little Red Bear’s “Guided Coloring Pages”

Little Red Bear’s friend Cinnamon Charlie loves to color and thought you may like to color, as well.

Simply print out each image and then use the completed guide to help you select colors to match.

Or — come up with your very own choices of creative colors to make each picture your very own, in your very own creative style!

“Play is often talked about as if it were a relief from serious learning. But for children, play is serious learning. Play is really the work of childhood. Play gives children a chance to practice what they are learning.” — Mr. Rogers
