There was a lovely poet.
But the only problem was,
She simply didn’t know it.
Unsteady and unsure,
Not knowing what to do.
She never penned a line,
Nor rhymed a verse or two.
Sadly the world missed out,
On what she might have said.
Her inner thoughts and feelings,
All left silent and unread.
Have you a verse within you?
Something you would like to say?
Write it down and let it out,
Please don’t wait another day!
Don’t be fearful or be shy,
Just do it and give it a try.
No pauses or wondering “if” or “why”,
Because your world is waiting and standing by!

My book friend Little Red Bear always likes to remind that a shared joy is a doubled
joy. Sharing yourself with the world works in the same way as your shared inner thoughts and light can help show the way for others.
Don’t waste time questioning your abilities or ‘muchness’, or hiding behind a pole trying to disappear from sight. For your own and everyone’s sake, break out of your shell, be courageous, and step out from your hiding spot in the shadows and shine your light.
